You see it in your emails and hear it in the news and around the water cooler at work. People are flocking to network marketing in droves. What's behind the record numbers attracted to network marketing? Making money from home attracts many. As does the chance to quit your job or fire your boss, or spend more time with your family. The proof is in the pudding. Adeptly applying the time honored principles of network marketing (relationship building) can be financially rewarding and immensely fulfilling. People do achieve incredible levels of success and abundance in network marketing. Even the "average Joe" can enjoy a lifestyle of the rich and famous. But it doesn't happen overnight. "Rome wasn't built in a day." It takes some time to lay the foundation for your ultimate reward. If you can fully grasp the concept of using this building block approach to jump start reaching your goals, you'll amaze even yourself with what you accomplish!
We all know about the great things some people achieve in network marketing. Sadly, we also know that most people never reach their ultimate goals. If network marketing is so great, why do so many people fail?
One of my favorite sayings is: "A great player is not as valuable as a good player who makes his team great." Great players often subrogate their level of greatness in support of the greatness of their team. To me the player that epitomized this principle was "Magic" Johnson of the L.A. Lakers, whom I had the pleasure of watching play in person in college. Finding leaders and role models in network marketing to pattern your behavior after is not always easy. It's usually someone who doesn't toot their own horn too loudly, and revels in the success of those around them. Often times the so called expert who talks the talk the loudest, doesn't walk the walk. Being open and aware of who you are and what drives you in life is the first step. You have to foster and nurture the growth and development of those around you. But before you can do that, you must make sure that your own house is in order.
In the movie "Field of Dreams" Kevin Costner struggles with his dream of playing ball with the greatest of all time, until he figures out that "If you build it, they will come." In network marketing, you must have the grass mowed, all the foul lines painted, all the bases down and the pitcher's mound graded, if you want them to come. Nothing less will do. It's a basic tenet of humanity that people are attracted to success, and confidence breeds success. In countless profiles and psychological studies, confident people are deemed more attractive. The quickest and most effective way to attract others to your opportunity is to act successful and become successful. Make this success profile a part of your daily life. Create your own field of dreams and inspire others to do the same. Before long your entire sphere of influence will be gigantic and filled with overlapping, dynamic, multiple fields of dreams that are all encompassing.
Ever wonder what networker marketers mean when they say network marketing is fun?
In summary, if you follow five basic steps in designing and implementing your network marketing strategy, you will virtually guarantee your success.
1. Be open and aware of who you really are and what makes you tick.
2. Embrace your own dreams and desires, and respect those of others.
3. Seek out true leaders in life and model your behavior after them.
The ones who are skilled in the art of psychology, gifted with a
listening ear, and possess a servant's heart.
4. Build your own field of dreams as a foundation for success and abundance.
5. Help those around you thrive by assisting them in building their own
field of dreams.
Wishing you ultimate success in all your endeavors, and satisfaction and joy in building your own field of dreams!
